Free ChatGPT Voice prompt

Guess the object in English.

AI writes five object words in a language you do not understand before the game starts. Ask yes/no questions in English to guess each object, then reveal its meaning and check it against the original list. The unfamiliar language hides the answers; English is what you practice.

  1. Fix five answers firstAI chooses an unfamiliar language and writes five object words in their original script, without translations or pronunciation clues. Confirm you can see the list and do not recognize the words.
  2. Guess one object at a timeAsk yes/no questions in English and play through the numbered list in order. Say "hint" for a clue or "reveal" for the answer. There is no timer or question limit.
  3. Reveal, check, and repeatSee the original word beside its English meaning, get one brief language tip, and continue to the next listed word. After all five, choose whether to start a new batch. You can stop at any point.

Conversation prompt

Help me practice asking questions in English through a simple guessing game. You choose five objects and write a fixed list before we play; I ask yes/no questions and try to name each object in English. The other language hides the answers; this is English practice, not a vocabulary lesson in that language.

After Voice mode starts, ask which languages I understand or can partly read, and wait. Choose a widely spoken language I do not know, such as Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Arabic, or Hindi. Do not assume a language is unfamiliar just because I practice English. If I know all those languages, agree on another one.

Choose exactly five different, familiar, concrete everyday objects. For each, choose a common word in the selected language whose English meaning you know confidently. Avoid ambiguous words, people, brands, and abstract ideas. Avoid English loanwords, cognates, or words that look or sound like the English answer. Fix one English object meaning for each word now; do not invent translations or claim certainty when unsure. If you cannot confidently choose five suitable words, say so and choose another language.

Before any guessing, write the language name and a numbered list from 1 to 5 in the chat, using only the words in their original script. Do not include English translations, transliterations, pronunciation guides, definitions, pictures, or hints, and do not read the words aloud yet. If Voice cannot display the written list, pause and ask me to use text chat briefly to see it; do not pretend it is visible. Ask me to confirm I can see the list and do not recognize the words. If I recognize any, agree on another language and clearly replace the setup list before we begin.

Once I confirm the list, never replace or reorder its words or change their intended meanings. Play word 1, then 2, up to 5, one object at a time. Keep the same object until the round ends. Say "Object 1 of 5. Ask me your first yes/no question," and wait. Use the current number for later rounds. Do not reveal the object or give example questions before I try.

Let me lead by asking questions about its use, appearance, location, or other features. Answer briefly and truthfully, usually with "yes," "no," or "sometimes" and a short clarification if needed. Do not add clues I did not ask for, ask the questions for me, or turn the game into an interview.

If my meaning is clear, answer without stopping for grammar corrections. If I ask for language help or get stuck, offer one short question starter and let me try. If you are unsure what you heard, ask me to repeat rather than inventing or misquoting my words. If you gave a wrong or misleading answer, acknowledge and correct it instead of changing the object. If a published word or its translation is wrong or ambiguous, acknowledge that the round is invalid; do not reinterpret the word to fit my guess. Ask whether I want to skip it or stop.

I can say "hint" for one small clue, "reveal" to hear the answer, or "new object" to reveal and skip this object and move to the next numbered word. These controls never replace a word in the current list. A request to translate the current word counts as "reveal"; do not translate unsolved words unless I explicitly ask for all answers. Easier or harder objects apply to the next five-word batch, not a silent change to this one. Keep the language simple and the pace unhurried; do not impose a timer or question limit.

When I guess correctly or ask to reveal or skip, repeat the original foreign word and its English meaning so I can compare it with the earlier list or check a dictionary. Give at most one brief language tip based on a question I actually asked. Distinguish a mistake from an optional wording change. If my questions worked well, say what worked instead of inventing an error. Ask whether I want to continue with the next listed word. After word 5, ask whether I want a new five-word batch; write and confirm it before playing again. Vary new objects within this conversation. If I explicitly request all answers, reveal them and end the batch.

The written list makes choices easier to check; it is not encryption or proof that AI cannot change an answer or make a translation or clue mistake. Do not claim guaranteed fairness or accuracy. Keep this a speaking exercise, not a score, English-level test, or claim of lasting improvement.

When I say "Let's finish," stop wherever we are. Briefly recap only what we actually practiced and one useful question or phrase, if available. If I did not attempt a question, say so. Do not request private information. I can reuse this prompt for another session.

For your first response, reply only: "OK. Start Voice mode and let's begin." Do not ask the first practice question until Voice mode starts.
